Hamilton Tarmac Ltd recently employed the services of Roche Environmental to help and guide us through the planning process to develop and extend our recycling operational depot at Olympic Business Park, Dundonald.
Gary visited the premises on numerous occasions to listen to our needs and aspirations for the future. He devolved the plan and considered the environmental aspects and impacts of our vision.
Gary then carried out all the consultations required with SEPA and amended plans were required to suit the needs of the surrounding area.
Planning was approved by South Ayrshire Council and Hamilton Tarmac Ltd are now able to further develop its recycling business at Dundonald, providing a service to the construction industry for both existing and new customers throughout West Central Scotland.
Without the level of knowledge and detail that Gary provided to the project, the process would have taken much longer than it did.

2015 Roche environmental were part of SWECO (Glasgow City Councils) consultants who together were involved in completing Capping works over the last infilled waste cell at South Cathkin Landfill site the last of GCC’s active Landfills. South Cathkin was closed for waste infill in August of 2013 & continued to infill with soils to make up the last of the sites final profile before final capping planned for 2015. During 2015 final capping works which involved the make of clays soils & covered over with GCL ( manmade clay blanket) topped off with top soils which was then grass seeded, the area was also planted with hedge row young trees & all boundary fence lines installed which Roche environmental was responsible for the CQA
Roche environmental has also played a big part in the restoration of Glasgow city councils closed Landfill sites over seeing installation of gas extraction wells , surface water collection ponds & Hydrokleer water treatment system .
2018/19 Glasgow changed to a new pump supplier & Roche environmental were again involved in delivery installation, maintenance & performance & most importantly any environmental issues were adhered to.
